About Oliver
Oliver Forrester is an experienced creative, digital strategist and entrepreneur. He works across multiple platforms and for a variety of clients in the public and private sectors. He combines his exemplary leadership, facilitation and business management skills with technical savvy and design capability to solve business critical issues. He understands how the right technology can deliver optimum value for organisations. He also has a particular gift for explaining the use of complex technology to users with limited knowledge and technical confidence.
Oliver designs, deploys and analyses online research; builds digital support platforms to facilitate the agency’s stakeholder engagement programs; devises project management systems and tools; designs and builds websites and creates a wide range of print, merchandise and digital artifacts. He is also a gifted photographer and videographer.
From straightforward website design, development and deployment for small Canberra based businesses, to large and complex database driven software solutions and digital transformations for service delivery agencies Oliver leads and inspires the OPF team to create solutions that will meet the challenges of change.
In 2011 and 2012 Oliver led the development of a multi platform digital interface for the Australian Year of the Farmer. This comprised a fully interactive, front and back end digital solution including an e-commerce capability, event calendars, a comprehensive social media presence, newsletters, membership programs, story and photography competitions and other campaign activations which enabled government, industry, media, farmers, educators and the general public to get involved with this significant national awareness and behaviour change program.
Completing his education in Canberra, Oliver lived and worked in Canada and the United Kingdom before returning to Australia and founding OPF in 2011.
He is a keen sportsman with a particular talent for hockey and skiing. In 2012, Oliver was the youngest person ever appointed to any Crime Stoppers jurisdiction in the Southern Hemisphere. He continues to sit on the Crime Stoppers Board in the ACT and is also committed to other areas of community service.
