Completing his education in Canberra, Oliver lived and worked in Canada and the United Kingdom before returning to Australia and founding OPF in 2011.
He is a keen sportsman with a particular talent for hockey and skiing. In 2012, Oliver was the youngest person ever appointed to any Crime Stoppers jurisdiction in the Southern Hemisphere.
